I have always wanted to make a real lit lightsaber. I found this hilt and read that it is very screen accurate. I bought it about a year ago.,

I bought all the electronics, pixels, proffie, pcb's etc. Then I got a little confused and discouraged. I ended up putting it all in a drawer and didn't look at it until recently.

I decided to give it another go. I designed my own chassis in fusion, after a revision or 2, it worked out great! I installed the proffie, wired it up, and on first power up - it worked perfectly! I couldn't believe it!

Here is the chassis:

The hilt is a Korbanth Graflex 2.0.
It has a Proffie v2.2 with about 7 fonts.
I got a TFA clamp card from Slothfurnace.
An accurate blade plug from thesaberarmory.
I machined a hole in the aluminum frame to allow light to come thru the clear brass eye.

I am pretty happy with it. I now have plans for a bunch of saber hilts that I purchased for display.

Thanks for looking

Clean build, looks great! I did notice the d-ring is on the wrong side, you should undo and flip the bottom section to move the d-ring to the opposite side.
