Mysterio (MoCap suit)

I didn't see a thread for this, so forgive me if one does exist.

Has anyone here tried their hand at recreating Quentin Beck's motion capture suit from Spider-Man: Far From Home? It seems like it would be a really neat cosplay idea, but it also feels sneakily difficult. I wouldn't even know where to start, so I'm hoping others have gotten started and wouldn't mind sharing some tips!

I most certainly do not wish to temper your enthousiasm, but why build the MoCap suit when you can build an XM Studios Mysterio costume? MoCap is 'just' spandex with bright patterns on it and a fish bowl with headset.Personally that doesn't strike me as exciting, nor would it visually remind me of the comics.Again, no offence meant; merely inquiring.

It's a cool suit! I mean, it's what he's wearing when he actually faces off against Spider-Man (both times, really). To me, that fact alone -- plus the fact that you get to wear the EDITH glasses with it -- makes it a worthy cosplay-able moment. And while it's not iconic to the comics, it would be instantly recognizable as being from Far From Home.

I bought a grey lycra suit on Amazon and spray painted it using stencils myself. Took about 4 hours to paint and was a pain in the ass and doesn't lok too great overall. My cosplay is the best Mocap cosplay I've seen, however. There is only one other guy that did it and his looked, to be honest, rushed and incomplete. You can find him on youtube. Here are a few pics:

Awesome cosplay! I've only ever seen Luke101/@do_you_even_cosplay do a really great MoCap Mysterio along with MCU Mysterio but I think yours is pretty good considering it's handmade.

EDIT: @swagatron42069 on Instagram has also done a really cool Mocap Mysterio along with a pretty darn accurate drone prop he made.
