Hey guys so I got the push from an older post by Kommisor (His Post) to finally get into cosplay for real. I read his entire post top to bottom and decided "that doesn't look to hard...",

UPDATE: So I have completed 95% of the Ranger, Still need Leds for the Helmet and a scope for the rifle. Here is some quick pictures, I need another person to take pictures of me haha. Setting up my phone on the counter is not conducive to good photos.

Where did you get that trench coat? its looking really good so far i like how your combining pepakura and a real helmet to put the mask together!

Thanks, I had to make it, bought 7 yards of "Brown Duck Canvas" and patterned it off a Black coat I already had. I didn't take many pictures of making it because sewing is tirelessly dull haha. As for the helmet I'm still a fair way from being done, I just finished brazing the helmet together and started sanding and smoothing it.

Got some work done on the Rifle today, now to start on the body of the rifle and then welding it together.

Man, I'm in LOVE with the duster/coat. It's perfect!
Also, you're making the mask out of metal? Can't wait to see the results. The Anti Materiel looks great aswell. Keep the uploads coming!

Anti Materiel updates, more of the body done. Ran out of acetylene and can't get more until Monday so I'll take pause here then.

Another update, Spent the last few weeks getting settled in to my new place, so finally got some time to work on the mask.

Still have to dry brush and age it. I have the red eye pieces ready to install and an LED to put in the side of the Ear cup.

I'm having a hard time with the material for the lenses, I used a red water bottle and cut the pieces to shape and used heat to make them into the correct shape but I tried to make them reflective and it ruined the visibility. I sanded the paint of but now the plastic is beyond repair now. I was thinking of just using a sheet of clear plastic and dyeing it red and then getting an airbrush to use some high quality modeling chrome paint like the way people make visors for for halo helms.

Also just a teaser for my next Fallout build is a gold reflective visor, that I will have to figure out how to make reflective like the Ranger lenses...
