Need reference pictures for "The force unleashed" costume

I just played through the game (quite a bit of fun) and I'd like to go about putting together a costume from the 3rd (?) level of the game where our little anti-hero goes running through the jungle on his way to pwn the twilek jedi whats-her-face.

GIS isn't turning up but vague, low-res images, so if anyone has the ability to screen cap from their console or better yet, from PC - I would be most grateful for any reference shots you could throw my way.

Just to be super clear - this is the costume where he is shirtless and wearing a lot of belts. (What is the deal with villains and their love of belts? Were they 'pants'ed' as children? Is this what lead them to turn over to the dark side? :))

There is an art of book available for the game that has a lot of character renders and concept art from the game in it that might help you out.

I have not found any good pics of him shirtless, but this is the way he starts out.

I think the one you want to make is this one, but more beat up and shirtless (also with out the shoulder armor I believe)

I have not found any shots of him from the front this way

Probably doesn't help you any...

P.S.
On a side note - They actually made Starkiller look like Sam Witwer the actor who played him. Interesting interview with him at this link

I'm looking for the one in the last level, the "Jedi adventure robe." Anyone got any pics of it?

If I had this for the PC instead of the 360 I could just screen cap all of these badarse costumes, but alas. :unsure

I too am looking for some screen caps - but of the Shadow Guards

other than the one pic on Wiki.

I did some sketching yesterday while looking at the TV screen. I really like the robes from the last level, its like Assassin's Creed mixed with Star Wars. Its been a long time since I scratch built a costume, thought this would be pretty cool.

Theres some decent reference pics of both the imperial guards, and the shadow guard (which are basically the same outfit, just different colors) along with the saber pike or whatever its called in the making of book.

That is very cool. He's posted pix of that on about 10 different boards. He told me in an email that he's still tweaking it to be more screen accurate. It's a great job though, hard to do the exposed crystal thing like that. :cool

I think my fave was the jungle costume. Opened after you fight Shaak Tii I think.

Was it just me or did anyone else keep thinking they were playing with KV whenever Rahm Kota appeared onscreen?

When I see him on screen I think "Dam, my handguards are wrong!" ... "I cut my armor harness too narrow!" ... "I gotta re-do those gauntlet clips!"..."I seriously need to dye my hair white!" ... "My boots are too dark!" ...

:wacko

after playing last night, I noticed that starkillers bandolier on the "jungle outfit" looks to me to be the same as General Kota's. also if you look closely at most of his outfits, you can see that they all have a bunch of common elements that just get shuffled around, and a lot of them are also parts from other characters outfits from the movies. some of the things I've noticed are Anakin's Ep3 glove buckles, Darth Maul's electrobinoculars, covertech clips all over the place, Jango Fett suit armor and pieces... especially the gauntlets, which are used on more than one outfit, a vest that looks like it came from an Xwing pilot, and his last "junk suit" looks like the neck collar/brace was definately inspired by the lower part of the Vader reveal helmet. Also the switches on one his chestpiece/backpack thing look like the ones used on tiepilot and xwing pilot chestboxes.
Oh yeah, its kinda obvious, but it looks like the shoulder armor he has on in the beginning is part of a droid, complete with a restraining bolt.

I'm sure I've missed some things, but I think thats a good start to identifying some parts.

I've started on mine- the Jedi Adventure Robes, the ones on the last level. Its tricky putting something together referencing something from a game. I think I can have it done by the end of Oct, just today I did the black collar under the robe, stuck it to a shirt that won't be seen, and am half done with the ribbed shoulder parts. It won't be super-accurate, but I think I'm going to be happy with it. Pics soon hopefully.

Anyone run into shots of the "bounty hunter disguise"? It has some really neat elements, but I haven't seen too many shots of it. :confused

There is a section for that specific costume in the Art Of book, but mostly concept stuff, not the final renders.

One of my garrison members did a costume of the dark apprentice for the SF Force Unleashed event. He is looking to make improvements.
