Hello There and thanks for having me,

I’m Mario, Engineer for Printing, turned prop and modelmaker from Berlin.

I Always loved making models and building stuff and now I’m lucky enough to call it my job, so lucky that ill do it in my free time as well.

Currently I’m building an Enigma I Cipher machine, and an Analog flight Computer and Ornithopter Pilot might have, but here I’m somewhat stuck in the design phase so unfortunately nothing to show jet.

Projects I want to do in the future are:

Indiana Jones grail diary, definitely my holy grail of props

Hamunaptra Key from the Mummy

The memory orb from Bladerunner 2024

Hello - I'm Steve. I came across this forum while researching a helmet build I've started. The thread is for an ACES helmet but I will be working on a Gemini helmet. NASA ACES Helmet Been a great resource!

I have a small basement setup in Northern Virginia where I am building a replica of a Lockheed A-12 cockpit. Work in progress.... All instruments (except for 3 temporary ones in the images below - to fill up a few remaining spaces) and panels either 3D printed, laser cut, and/or laser engraved. Planning on building out the side consoles, center console, and flight controls. More info at my Instagram site: @a12oxcartproject

I have a couple of Anycubic Kobra Maxs, a Bambu Labs Carbon X1(which I love!), and a couple of Photon Mono Xs for resing printing.

Really happy to have come across this forum!

-Steve

Wow that looks absolutely amazing and ready to fly

Hey All.

I've been lurking here for a while, and finally decided to post some of my fun projects. So, I'll be doing that shortly.

I am very much a 3D printer person, and have been slowly learning Fusion360 to help take ideas into The Real. I'm fond of 8-bit things, and enlarg-ification. Giant Lego versions of things, Trees, Food, Bricks, etc. Something, something playing with scale.

Also been on a Dune kick. Currently in the process of weathering a Thumper - which I will post. Did a build of The Box / Gom Jabbar which I loved.

Great to be here, thanks for being a welcoming community.
