Absolutely amazing what you've been able to achieve here, and in such a short amount of time too. Great work.
Well, it's a good thing I want a clean one then lol
That was a thought of mine. I have definitely blown past my original goal of only caring as much as the original prop makers. I can always offer the option to not pressure cast if someone wants. Plus I’m sure I’ll eventually have some bad luck and a casting will come out nasty. This way I can up-charge for it being “more accurate”.![]()
I am using the straight emitter cap, I needed the threaded rod to be coming straight out of the saber otherwise the blades would be crooked when attached.Well, it's a good thing I want a clean one then lol
Also, will you be doing a cast with the true leveled emitter cap? As I'm more for a "perfect" appearance.![]()
This are unbelievably clean and look AWESOME!! You have outdone the Phantom Menace production team sir!! Looking forward to the run of these Dewy!!I have been busy doing some house projects since my last update, but just because I’m not posting doesn’t mean I’m not working:

Just realized I am curious about this - do you stick the rod in after the pour? If there's only 1 opening up top, I'm wondering how this process works
