I've tracked down the Emerson - AM/FM, TV Band, Weather Band Features - Model # PM3900A

However, I need some help on the silver disk (wheel) that's been placed in the dial area.
What I do know is:
* the diameter is 3 1/8 inches
* looks like it was trimmed down in size
* manufactured before November 1978

Just a guess, but those headphones look like they may have started as some old Bang & Olufsen headphones. Worth a look in that direction.

It could be several different transistor radio speaker grills cut-up and layered, possibly reversed.
