Parts hunt- elusive F1, AFV, monitor ship gun, overthruster? ;-)

I've got a handful of parts that, while not silhouette-contributing or necessary for the armature and core, are almost in the 'need them now' stage for a build, both digital and practical. I have better resolution ref, but it can't be shared, so hoping that the attached is enough for someone to lock on to what the parts are. These are the first two I'm looking up, mainly because their ortho and screencap ref scaled up the best. I have 6-8 others that I don't know yet, but I'm not sure I can get their images to read well enough to bother here.

Think Jedi-era, but I've not seen them on any SW work specifically.

Thanks for looking.

Hey! Since the first round went so well, let's keep it going!

I've wanted it to be, but the surgery to get the parts *there* is a bit much for something that isn't seen.
The Mobelwagen is similarly close, without the 'extensions'.

AGHAHHH!!!

holy carp. About three hours ago I went looking at a couple of esci 72 kits, but the first site I went to had only 2 I think, so I stopped and went on to a few other bits as I was looking for something else. Thank you! I see them...

Pfft--- 302 view and only 2 parts?? You're all worthless and weak! (sorry but I can't recall the next line)
All right IDers, here's your dissertation defense (for this week at any rate).
;-) Sorry for the scaled up resolution, these are the best that I can share. And no, not expecting a miracle here...! Thanks for looking.

-.-

;-)

For anyone who's curious, only two of the parts (and yeah I really want to sort out why that Nashorn just... augh... anyone have ref on the full range of Bandai :48??)... only two of the parts in the above have been IDed, so all of this and more is still in play.

I'm going to drop in another image, but please head to the first post to see the full line-up.

As before, these are scaled to a decent size, but trying not to lose detail or present 100% grain... we're good, we're not THAT good.

Between a couple of projects, I've got about 140 of 150 or more parts sorted, and thankfully none of these are silhouette or structure volumes and most would be easily accessible if I went with open areas for them or placeholders. But I'd love to have them nailed down. With one project in particular the relationship between the core and the detail layer is not as clear-cut as most ships.

Thanks.

The first part is the front fender from a Honda CX500 Turbo. Tamiya released it in two scales? ( 1/12...1/6) back in '82.

Cheesey biscuits... I don't think that is a kit that I've *ever* looked inside of... to cover all the bases (other folks may look in here) is that kit known for being 'useful'? And good grief, all I had to do was look at the box art. And as you said, produced in '82... it's a candidate for Jedi, ST III, etc etc...

There is a piece opposite that I can also see is from the kit, which I suspected I'd find once an ID was done. This part here is about 40mm in L (kit part dimension) so by math, it's the 1/12. Woo to the hoo... they're $$, but not like the 1/6 $$$$.

Thank you!

Thanks for this, just wanted to be sure to quote you here and get a thanks in that you might actually see.

Happy to help. May have to hit you up sometime re: another subject I've been chipping away at..

I don't recall if this bike donates parts to other builds. I was separated from my kits for eons which has fogged up my memory nicely. Hiroshi inspired me to look into motorcycle kits for Jedi stuff way back, so secondary credit is due to him for pointing me in that direction.

dragnink - got to say thank you one more time- that kit provides at least one more part, and it is a bear of a piece, visible only from one angle on the ship (from the rear, and never seen on screen etc). I had thought 'maybe' when ordering, and when it arrived today, had a look. Spot on. Will check the rest out later on.

Yw, glad it turned out to be a good kit.

The bikes often tend to get overlooked, especially in the smaller scales..

Let's see how you like this week's experiment! It's going to blow your little minds, warthogs. All aboard the train to ID painville, where's there's no ibuprofen!!!

(effing ell I need to get out more)

Short ver- have taken a few of the previous pics and pared things down, then dropped a megaton o' fun on your bun. That probably came out wrong. Just... like... you...

All right, already time for an update, a couple of things fell into my lap. Only expecting 3-4 parts out of a few kits that I picked up, ended up with 6 and then another kit and donor as well. A completely new to me kit that hasn't been documented though, so it'll be a bit til I see if it has more to offer. Hate that ;-)

A good week though, and some agreement on an approach to one project, whew.

So, where things are now, with the best res imagery that I can post. Yes I realize how bad some of them are... heh, and I do wish I could post 'other' but iykyk, and thanks. The small doodles are generalized guesses as to volume or the more telling detail on surfaces.

Have at, hounds! Er, please.

Best I can make of what is likely the most difficult section to ID (that has any sort of shot of it)
