Predator tattoo! Opinions needed!

After quite a few years - in october I'll be 23 - I've finally decided to get a predator tattoo. I've been toying with this idea for quite a long time (since I was 15 basically), and for basically the reason of "maybe I'll stop liking the predator for x reason" I decided to wait. But the wait is no more, for I've finally come to terms that my predator fever will never be over.
Anyway, the reason of this thread is because I need your opinions on my possible choices for the tattoo, I really like them all equally, and I'm still the one who will have the final decision, but still would be nice the opinions from guys like me that are into all predator stuff - and not some random person like my mom or girlfriend. If you could tell me why you selected x pic it would be great, if there is no particular reason for your choice that's cool as well , anyway here are the pics!

The Shev illustration would probably be the easiest for a tat artist to work with.

Shev's Color and drawing is nice for a tattoo. Where are ya putting the tat? Your chest, back, arm? Since its gonna be on your body for a long time should take the design to the tat parlor and have them work up a more complete design tailor to your young fresh skin., rather than just a "sticker" on your skin. I like the first but jsut rember one thing.

YOU have to look at it everyday for the rest of your life. choose the one that makes you happiest. I find that in a tough desicion if my mind starts to try and either tip the "equallity" or choose one specific one thats the one i go for.

My only input would be to have a chat with the tattoo artist about the final choice and decide where and how to put it on so it suits you as, just as Uratz said, looking like just a sticker

I would never do, but if I were to have a tattoo from what you've shown, it would be the preacher's caine (and new contestant is very similar), because I'd want it to be clearly recognizable at first sight. It's not the case with the others (especially coloured ones, bob could do). Not that Nick Shev's drawing is not cool, but I'm sure people would have to come closer to identify the image's meaning, and that's not what I would want.

Maybe you could try to look further and edit the big game cover to make it look like what it would be as a tattoo on skin.

I didn't pick any, because in the end it's you who's going to be living with it. I love tats btw so that maybe have come off a bit parental which I don't mean to be.

Ever thought about designing your own? So then no one could ever possibly accidentally have the same one(It can happen, I've seen it). Or if you think you haven't quite got the artistic skills down yet why not augment a pic/design you do like. Can get some awesome effects even with simple photoshop knowledge.

Ooh just thought, wonder if anyone has like a 'warrior' or 'honour' in yuatjaian(?) tat...? make a damn change from chinese symbols. Honestly some dolts are walking around thinking they're hard with bloody fried rice written on their shoulder!

1st things 1st thumbs up for going ahead with it man, im doing the same as soon as i get back to NZ, but im going with the longspear style predator (samurai predator) ripping up 2 or 3 aliens

i like new contestant added since there is more there, like someone else said it depends where your getting it, im going for my back and its gonna cover almost all of it... and if you want the face or some body and some wicked wrist blades, wich is why i like new contestant.

so id say thats my fav, and if you like it, get those blades fully extended PS i prefer mask on not off ^_^

well any of them can be done, but that depends on the skill of the tattooist
I would say go for someone that is able to do portray work (which i have been told by 2 different tattoo artist friends that its field of its own regarding skill!!).
Also depends on where you want it to go on, as some artwork look great flat down but when you have to consider how the skin moves and the musles behind it i.e the arm it can cause the picture to become distorted. But really follow the advice from Uratzs as he really hit the nail on the head. As if you give the tattooist the ideas and maybe some pictures he/she whould be able to make something that is unquie to you.

I have the big game cover on my right arm and it worked really well as a half sleeve. But the first image of the bunch is pretty savage too!

I studied tattooing in Japan. If you like, I could help you with the general layout.
Of course, it wouldnt have to be Japanese style, but you might like what that looks like.
Once you decide on a good predator, email it to me and Ill see what I can do.
also, tell me how big you want it. A full figure of a man (or alien) ought to have plenty of space.

I voted Preacher Caine's drawing, but they all look kind of big and garish for a tattoo. I would go for something small but fanboy like the three red laser dots that the Pred plasma caster makes, maybe on your bicep or inner wrist. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the comments, guys! I see a lot of people liked Nick Shev's drawing (I love it too), but it surprised me anyway! Making a new topic as I have narrowed it down to two tattoos.
