Why am I only seeing my sent private messages in my inbox? The ones that I actually sent to people? I'm not finding their response pm's. Is it just the new system is messed up?

Do you see your received PMs in the "Sent" folder? Please see the other thread as this was discussed.

I got the same thing, received pms show up in sent items and vice versa. What other thread are you talking about where it's discussed? I can't find it either.

In my INBOX, I can see both messages that I've SENT and RECEIVED messages. whats going on?

Anyways... I have the same thing. If I select some messages as mark as read, then it marks them unread. Or I dunno. I just have 77 "unread" messages. Which I all read.


Also the ones sent to me (in my sent, not inbox folder), most say they are made by me, and when I click I see the original senders name.

There's nothing to be done about it globally. You just have to create a new folder, then go into the "sent" folder and click the box that clicks all of the displayed PMs, then use the pulldown menu to move them to the new folder (or delete or whatever). Then do the same with the inbox...

I am having a problem. I am unable to send any PMs and i have all my sent in my inbox, and all my sent in my sent box....just the same messages in both folders.

Can't send PMs? There isn't even an option to turn that off. What happens when you try?

I dont even have the option to. Like I can click on your name there Treadwell, and the drop box comes down, and there is no option to send a private message. I have PMs enabled and everything.

There's no option in the sent folder to move the messages...

Also I just noticed that the PM box must be smaller now cause it says I have 664 of 400 allowed messages and that my inbox is 100% full.

With all the messages all screwed up it'd take me a LONG time to try and figure out first, which ones are sent or received cause it says I am the creator even for ones I didn't create, and secondly, to try and find over 200 PMs that I want to delete.

There are so many PMs because apparently Invision didn't delete PMs that people deleted. vBulletin will kill 'em dead, for sure, so we wont have zombie PMs coming back from the dead.

I'll have to write a hack to allow the Sent box to be moved... not sure if that's possible/safe, but I'll give it a go.

Meanwhile, prune PM that aren't of use...
