When I got this started with my freind in California, we originally were going to make it completly based off Scar-face from Predator: Concrete Jungle. But along with a few complications and dislikes about certains parts of it, we decided to revamp it. Now it's going to look like a big cross between CJ, and the first two Predator movies.

Even though he was going to make it all and I pay him, I'm a cosplayer, so of course I'm not going to want him to make it all on his own. So I'm getting the things he can't (Such as animal skulls, real and replicated.), and making lil bonus peices.

Here's something that he pointed out that makes it different from most costumes. It's got the basic idea of most, latex skin and netting, but the armor (except for wristblades, plasma caster, mask, etc.) is made of theatrical foam.

Dispite my first impressions, when you paint this stuff and use the right glue, this stuff is GOOD. It looks like metal, it's light and comfortable.

Now, the only thing I didn't like, mostly because I told him I didn't want the particular copy of the helmet mask b4 he bought it, was the helmet is one of the first sculpted Celtic Masks. But thankfully, he cleaned it up so it doesen't look like...well anyway it looked alot better.

The gauntlets were interesting to me. They're neither foam, nor resin. They're latex copies of P2. (With P1 computer mounted.) The only trouble is he couldnt find decent wristblades to fit them, so I'm making my own from scratch.

And the last of my story tellin', I bought what I was TOLD was a full sized AVP plasma Caster, but it was CRAP. It was about 9 inches long, poorly molded (seam lines, stuff like that.) but my freind in california offered to fix that up for free. He not only paintd it and mounted it on my backpack, but he turned it into a 1 of a kind BEAUTY!

Ok, enough ranting, time to post some pics. I'm open for suggestions and such.

Now, I havent received everything he's finihed (yet, he's sending it sometime this week though.) I did something a lil...Geekish.

When I got my mask in, I already had the hands. But I got soooo exicted I decided to take a walk in the downtown area of Sanford...I had plenty of fun. I was even invted to a grand openning for it.

Here's a few pics of Scar-face-The Player.

I like the damage to the face...thats something that hasn't been done before and originality is always a winner around here...

You should've been around when he first finished it. Out of all the 1's he'd worked on, he said, that was his favorite. He took so many pics of it (mostly him wearing it.) I almost thought I wasen't going to get it.

Great, now I have to come up with another idea. Your mask looks great. I had a similar idea for mine.

On playstation 2 there is a predator game that has the main predator on it with the same damage to the face but it had lost it's eye it wasn't burned.
but yeah looks Awsome!

I dig the scared eye on your mask...awsome job! Thats the first time seeing
something like that...good stuff man!

Um, Supreme Emperor, That's what my mask was intended to be based off of. MAtter of fact I almost had the left eye never cut open. But since I intended to wear a helmet mask over tp ot I wanted both eyes availible. When I take the helmet off I just keep my eye shut, which my eye lids are painted accordingly. (You can see it in the pic with me and the coke.)

I like the scarring [well, hence, "Scar-face"!] as well. Can't wait to see it finished, as it seems you are willing to be "geekish" enough to have a blast with the head and hands in a very awesome way; more power to you.

Ok Yeah I like that game I think it is one of the better one out.
I want to make an exact Concrete Jungle Predator.
So you just paint your eye lids green for the FX. cool!
But anyways it will probably be a bit before I can start on making my own pred.

you could always get a special Blind Eye Contact that would give you a "Dead Eye" look to go with the scar. that way your closed eye lid wouldn't get tired.. like this one

I've considered that. Plus, (to be even more creative.) I've been thinking of getting a custom contact lense of, basically, a cybernetic prosthetic. (Almost like a terminator version of the Predator's eye. Basicaly, black mechanical look and a red iris center.)

Just out of curiostiy, which is better, long dredds or short?

They both look good to me, and I'm getting some poly foam rope to make new and better dredds for my mask. Which do you guys think is better?
