Morning all :)

Quick one about bondo. Im using a brand over here in the UK called Bonda Decor fill and just wanted to know if i could thin it down to get it to spread better when im filling my han carbonite screw holes etc.I aim to do one strike over all sides of the box and dont want to be using it too thick. Obviously ill be doing thinner coats to even it out properly but want to know how i can thin it out. I know its filler first, then hardener but something to thin it would be great.

Thanks

Lee

As stated above you can thin it out with acetone but keep in mind possible ill long term effects. You are introducing a thinning agent to a product that is meant as a filler. This could end up shrinking, cracking, paint issues.... This is why many cheap auto body work jobs fail trying to cheat out a minute portion of labor. You may be best off searching for a thinner material vs attempting to thin the material youre using.
