Yep...looking at it, it was pretty amateurish

Having cotton ball “explosions” in the missing bits would have been the way to go…in a wedge display so you don’t see the lack of the bottom saucer.

They should 3d print the rest of the ship in gold and hang the pieces onto it. Kinda like Japanese Kintsugi mixed with the conference room gold ships.
