Such a shame… I remember being young and watching him Saturday mornings on the bunny ear tv..

Got to meet him at Mardi Gras one time. No snobbery or attitude and a total pleasure to be around and even with a brief encounter he still made you feel special

I was a VERY HEAVY teen... I never missed an appearance of the guy. I was nothing like him, and he seemed so comical, but stuff he said made me feel hope I could get it together.

And he was always hilarious on Dave Letterman appearances. Such a huge part of my teen years.

And this was great... Apparently he didn't dig the idea... and never saw it. But I hope he did, cuz it really is a great portrayal.
