Hi RPF !

As stated below, I am new in costume making, and I'd like to start big with a Symbiote Spider-Man suit, like this :

I've looked around on the Internet and mostly here on this website, and I'm not quite sure about how to do it.

I was thinking, maybe buy two spandex morphsuits, one white and the other black, and then sew the white pattern on the black suit. But I don't know how it's gonna turn out.

An other idea I had was simply to buy a pattern (like Taylor McManus') and print it through FabricOnDemand. However, as I'm living in France, I kinda have trouble finding a tailor that would assemble my printed suit ! As a matter of fact, if one of you knows a guy in Paris who does that, let me know!

Anyway, I also am not sure about puffy paint. I mean, would it be necessary to puff paint the white pattern ? Would it have a better look?

I've seen a lot of posts and threads about symbiote suit, and they all look great !
I just need some advice on what methods would work out best.

Thanks a lot ! :)

I would recommend purchasing the costume file and sending it to Fabric On Demand. The angles of the white spider will probably make sewing two morphsuits together a pain. Not to mention, they won't stretch naturally with the stitching in there.

As for sewing the suit: you could send the suit to someone on here. I know I've seen a few offering their sewing services in the classifieds. That said, I don't know what that would cost you. If you want to go local, I suggest hitting up any independently owned dry cleaning services. Many of those people have sewing experience, or may know of a skilled seamstress with whom you could get in touch.
