Very neat.

The helmet reminds me a lot of the one Sandor "The Hound" Clegane wears in "Game of Thrones."

There's a lot of Skyrim that reminds me of GoT, it would be fun if someone did a GoT mod :)

GoT mod would be amazing, just dont play the Got video game itself, not to many games have ever upset me but i would rather my 360 and all my saved games exploded than play that game again, you have been warned!

thanks for the reference pics :thumbsup, have been toying with the helm in my head for a bit now, would be my first armor job, its an elegant design but should not be a total headache.

I've been thinking about how to do it in EVA foam since I looted my first set in Dragonborn. I think the helmet would be pretty easy actually. My only real constraint on starting is lack of plasti dip(I know there's other ways of sealling EVA). I should be able to get my mitts on some pretty easily once I get to New Mexico in a couple months.

I want to learn how to pull the models out of the game, import them into pepakura, and then unfold it. If any body has a tutorial on that PM me.

These are great pics, thank you. I LOVE all the Skyrim armor and this DLC armor is just beautiful. Might just be my next(and first lol) helmet!

Tamplain- Most excellent! thanks! (sadly, don't have a computer that can handle the game), and i haven't gotten far enough to unlock it. Been staying away from the wikis to avoid spoilers, so thank you!

This thread has been totally invaluable for my own nordic carved armour project. You are awesome for compiling it.

Also, for the under-armour I bought one-sided quilted cotton from my local fabric store. As long as the fabric's not synthetic it'll take dye just fine, I did it for mine. It could take another dying once I've got more time to deepen the colour, but it works great. Funnily enough the threads used for quilting were acrylic so stayed cream coloured, actually enhances the effect! Rather cool :p
Good luck! :)
