Spider-Man 2002 Pattern Help!

So I have a 2002 spidey pattern file, but the back spider is horrendus I don't have PS so I dunno how to fix it I tried using Gimp but im still struggling, I was wondering If anyone could help with advise or if not i'd be willing to pay someone for it to be done.

Everything else looks OK its just the back emblem needs fixing from the following...

1. The spiders rear crack (yes I know) isn't aligned with the sewing line which could result in a 'W' shaped bottom.

2. The whole emblem is riddled with horrible looking edges.

To fix the emblem it will be necessary to have photoshop to be able to correct the sections of the emblem and give a cleaner finish to the rear spider. If you have photoshop I can guide you to fix it or if you like I can help you fix the emblem with my photoshop
