I have always wanted a Spider-Man Replica Suit since I was a kid watching the Raimi Movies, The Raimi version is still on my wish list. But to do it to a standard I would be happy with it will take a bit more time, effort and money. So until I scratch that itch, I wanted my second favorite suit. The Upgraded suit seen at the start of Spider-Man No Way Home.
I did a little research to find a suit that didn't cost the earth, but yet still had the details I was looking for. I found RPC Studios, it was pretty close. But I wanted to make my own Face Shell, Lenses and Web-shooters.
I started with the face shell. Which I got from Zaack3d it is a great file, but I modified the STL to add a little missing detail on the frames. A tiny notch in the corner that I noticed was on screen used frames.
I 3D printed the shell and lenses in Resin.
I then moved onto the web-shooters. As from RPC Studio they are just screen printed on the suit. I wanted 3D versions, so I printed a couple using the free file on CGtrader by Joeprops3D. I Modified the file so that it has a back plate and magnets to attach to the suit easily.
The rest of the suit I was pretty happy with, there was some screen printing that went onto the soles a little bit, as well as some glue that was visible. But using a black paint pen I touched up the soles. Now they look alot cleaner.
The Suit, is screen printed with a raised texture. They call it RPC Paint on the site.
There is also a raised spider symbol on the front and a fabric style one on the back.
A little background editing and photo of me in the suit. I still need to work out a bit more to be in Tom Holland shape, but I am getting there.
I also did a party for one of my friends children, which was fun. They loved it.
