The intensity to which the damage is done seems unlikely to have been accidental... Were you trying to get the Raimi-Style battle damage from the Green Goblin fight? If so, I don't see why you'd be sad, it looks pretty cool.

If it WAS accidental damage, post what pieces you have still from the mask (the other eye, patches of fabric) and I can help give you some tips on how to repair the mask back to a workable condition.

Well... all i can say is that would make such a good zombie spiderman mask

But like chaosprince said green goblin must have wanted you bad, it really would look as a damaged spiderman suit xD

This is the only damage kind of look i could find hehehe but yeah it looks quite similar.

And this is zombie spiderman just incase you want more work to do xD

If you're down for it, I would urge you to consider making the Zombie!Spider-Man suit.

I think it would be fun to wear it to a con, especially because of the Zombie craze that is going around right now.
But I might be partial because Spidey is my favorite Zombie hero. (and if you havent read Marvel Zombies, this is a reminder for you to pick one up asap)

If you're going off of the image that Raven recced, then yeah, you'll need to damage the nose, but it looks really good so far!

you should try to put dirty spots on it,t show that you had a fight..

If you debut it at a convention, you should throw in some fake fresh blood. Looking great man

and if you have material lying around for broken lenses, go for it. Just make sure you cut it in a way that won't poke your eyes
