SyFy channel 'rebooting"?

I never understood why they changed it to SyFy, I mean WTF?

At the time they said it was so it would be a name they could trademark, the term sci-fi has been around a long time and couldn't be trademarked.

The only times I've watched SyFy since the SciFi Battlestar Galactica days are for the Twilight Zone New Years marathon and the 12 Monkeys series in the last couple of years.

The Twilight Zone marathon is the only time I ever turn on Scifi these day.
