Taking a new look at Pure Art’s “TERMINATOR 2” T-800 Endoskull Art Mask!

This was reported by Skynet's Army in May, but not sure when it is scheduled for release. Looks pretty great for a mask piece.

Shame it is not the full skull instead of the mask.

Mask as in wearable? If it really is 1:1, then only a kid will be able to wear it as the skull is actually smaller than the face.

Yeah I wish it was the full skull too. It's not confirmed whether it's wearable, but I doubt it. I think it's more so a display piece.

I wonder if they are using the term 'mask' just so they can manfacture a 1:1 replica piece, since the actual prop license for the T2 Endoskull might be tied up with other companies.

The studio may have granted the mask license as long as they make it distinct from being an exact 1:1 replica. So even though it's a 1:1 scale replica, it's just the front of the skull. Of course this is all just conjecture at this point.

So who does the best full skull then? I haven't seen any runs going on for one. I'd love to add one to my collection.

Vivek, that looks great for any price....(!)

Them teeth for example(not to mention the rest as well) are waaaaay better than anything Sideshow's ever produced.

My only complaint would be the eyes. But it's supposed to be a "mask" so.... MEH

Yep, sometimes an accurate Endoskull's look is thrown off by the teeth alone. I hope they consider doing a full version down the line.

No company is manufacturing new T2 Endoskulls at the moment. Chronicle Collectibles does sell one based on the design from Terminator Genisys.

Yep, especially when it's not even wearable.

And like I mentioned before, I think it's a way to produce and promote a product when they don't have the specific license.

Like when a company who has the costume license, but don't have a prop license are supposed to promote their prop replica product as a "costume accessory".

Tempted. Not sure about just buying the face plate. A whole head would be better and they could still call it a "non-wearable" mask. My AP Stormtrooper helmet had "space mask" on the customs declaration to get around Star Wars licensing.

Shipping takes the p..s on everything. Generally I find shipping to be based on weight, but they also take cubic volume into the equation and charge the higher amount.

Given this is resin, it will have some weight and being 1:1 with a stand, won't be small.

the company has listened to me and dropped the shipping by $60 so my words might have been strong but it worked as everyone now saves on shipping

Got a reply to my email last week when I asked them why there hasn't been any update on their site/social media nor any promotions elsewhere and whether other retailers will carry this product. This was supposed to ship in December.

"Thank you for reaching us!

The masks are ready, the boxes are being printed and the foams are being made in order to packed it properly for shipping; this should take around 30 days.

As soon as it is ready, we will inform the community and make it available"
