Hey guys, i know its not a predator but i wanted to share my new project with you , my friend wareagle asked me if i could paint a nerf longshot for him back in december, well we both hit some snags and the deal fell through, but it put ideas in my head about what i could do, this was my first try with one of these things(ITS ONLY A PROTOTYPE, OTHER MODELS WILL BE MORE STREAMLINED). I bonded the two guns together, removed the forward handle, cut a window so you could see the bolt assembly, bonded the bi-pod(its flimsy and everytime you move it it rubs the paint off, and removed the scope. I also added a piece of screen into the opening at the front of the gun, i felt that empty space needed something to fill it in. As for paint, i used modelmaster "gunmetal" i use it on all my guns, it looks like a powder coated black but when a camera flash hits it gives it a blue hint that i reall like. I chrome lined the handle, bolt assembly, and barrels. I liked the idea of belt fed weapon, so i took a 4 foot long plastic machine gun belt that i had lying around(indvidualy painted the tip of each bullet) and glued that into the housing of the gun, size of the belt can be adjusted, unfortunatley in doing that some glue must of hit the bolt and now it doesn't cock back(FUTURE MODELS WILL NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM), like i said this is just a prototype i plan to make other styles, this one is for sale, pm me for price.
