I watched the first one, I think this one because its from Disney is going to be pretty good.

I watched the first one, I think this one because its from Disney is going to be pretty good.

It is from Illumination, a animation studio owned by Universal.

Reviews have been middling and box office has been disappointing, both compared with the original and against the more modest studio expectations. The studio has been developing plans to bring the franchise into its theme parks, but from what I hear, that is now a lot more iffy. If it makes enough to warrant a third film, it may get a better chance.
