Nice work mate.

Those look pretty good. I wonder how the sizes line up with the screen used mesh?

What are the dimensions for the cut-out (on the box) where the mesh goes?

~Russ

EDIT: Nevermind, I have Frett's RR boxes to work with now. :)

I've also begun asking companies to create the mesh. I've inquired with 10 in all and 2 have said they cannot do it.

To me, when looking at the pictures, the mesh or grid doesn't look woven like those wire mesh examples, but looks like a solid piece with the grid pattern cut out of it - as if cast or cut, not interwoven. If you know what I mean.

Good point NoHumourMan... your probably right there.. the search continues

B&Q in the UK have a vast amount of different mesh.

Its used as fire guard mesh.

Might be worth looking at those for the desired shape or weave?

the search goes on...some things I found, these are handheld radiotransisitors
Some look pretty close....but some mesh is to large, I think
what do you guys think

close but the length of the rectangles are still too long. The rectangles are 3 times as long as they are high on the real mesh.

Keep that number in mind as you search. So far, nothing found on my end.

Dave :)

Gino posted a pic of his ANH belt and I must say the mesh looks really damn close. I'm not sure if it's the same as Jesper's.

I may be onto something...

What do you think of this:

Please note it's viewed from a slight bottom angle in the pic.

The machine its from fits the bill perfectly. What do you think?

Another shot:

Hmm...do the rectangles look too wide? It's a small mesh so I imagine it would fit the boxes well.
