What About Bob, book cover.

The fake book I made is sized as 242 x 160 x 40 mm (height x width x thickness) and should fit perfectly the cover dust jacket. I would recommend to print the dust jacket on plain paper (if it is cheaper, print it b/w), which should consist in 2-3 sheets, glue it together, then cut out; with this sample cover try to find a matching book.

Hi, yes this was the tricky part. I got mine printed on A2 sized paper.
I looked up the standard size for a hard backed book. Which is about 240mm x 157mm.
So if you get it printed with the height of the book at 240mm then it should fit a book with a spine of 38mm.
I then went around charity shops (goodwill) with a tape measure until I found a book of the correct size.
I used Vistaprint in the UK.
