I'm in the market for a Star Trek TOS Services division tunic.

As nice as the anovos velour ones are im afraid their shipping scheduled doesn't work in my favor and the storys I've read regarding the sizing on their standard line doesn't fill me with confidence.

I wondering who currently makes the most accurate Original Series red tunic? And if possible who fall with in the general price range that Anovos has between $200 and $250? And if you have contact info please share.

Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Over at yuku is a good Uniform board 1701 or something like that.

Google TOS Tunic it should come up

I've had extremely bad luck with buying custom tailored Star Trek uniforms in the past, ANOVOS is top quality but the sizing never works for me and there are several costumers who are more than happy to take your money then not do the work (Shaunn Lawrence). After a lot of trial and error, I found the best way to get one made that is accurate, fits well, and is delivered in a timely manner, is to buy the fabric from Joe Kerezman's eBay store, then contact eBay user murraymousie and make arrangements to have her put it together for you.

Murraymousie is one of the few who gets nothing but good reviews from the 1701st uniform club. Her work is excellent and very fast, but you have to provide her with accurate materials. Usually the stuff she sells on eBay is done in generic colors.
Kerezman has had a bad reputation in the past, though I've never had a problem buying from him. He certainly always delivers on his eBay sales and his double knit material, patches and rank braids are all very very accurate. He sells do-it-yourself kits with everything you need.

Murraymousie's eBay profile:

Kerezman's do-it-yourself fabric kits:

I hope this helps!

I'm surprised the Bay allows him to sell as he ripped people off there as well irrc :unsure

After looking around and taking suggestions I think I'll give murraymousie a try since she seems to have the best reviews.

I do have one other question though in regards to the pants are they tucked into the boots are all? Or are the boots knee high and the pants just go over then with that billowing cuff just resting at the calf?

The pants just sit over the boot, like flared capris.

I also recommend murraymousie, and have been put through the ringer by Kerezman. :)

I understand how people feel about Kerezman, I've read the horror stories. I guess my question would be if anyone knows a reputable source for accurate TOS fabric? I've purchased things from Kerezman's eBay store, rather than his website, because I thought it would be safer that way. I've had no problem with buying simple pre-made things from him, like the patches, braids and fabrics, but I have no doubt you would run into trouble trying to commission a full costume from him. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask murraymousie if she has any screen accurate material on hand, or could recommend a source. It seems to me she had some in a limited quantity at one time.

As for the pants, I've seen others at the 1701st uniform club with some special made pants from her, if you tell her you're looking for pants that meet the 1701st's standards she will make you a very accurate pair of pants as well.

The pants were of various lengths, the cuff at the bottom is bell shaped which gives it its distinctive flare.

I think Anovos is having a sale on the pants now.

The Boots mostly were just above the calf.
