Question Why do I get a notification when I quoted another member?

Just as the title says.

I understand and appreciate being messaged when someone else quoted me, but since people themselves usually know when they quoted another member I do not understand the necessity of sending out a message when this was done?!
 
You shouldn't receive an email when you quote someone, only when someone quotes you. Please forward the email to help@therpf.com and I will take a look at it.
