So. There you go. Its very awesome and VERY MUCH want to bring it to comicon next year. Im trying to find the right things. If you can help me with the the gas tank, that would be appreciated. Im probably just going to construct it out of a bunch of ground down pieces of circular wood pieces. Anything that has to do with the construction of the beast. I hope to be done in February. I have a few badass plans coming up...

I think a working version would require some serious metal working skills to build the entire thing out of metal. Otherwise it would fall apart. So if you're not prepared to do that, I wouldn't even mess with a pressurized tank because you'd just blow yourself up.

The launch "track" is going to take some metal working if you don't want it to collapse on itself. I would find some metal I beams if you can find some that small for the top of the U track. Then you could cut out the oval shapes inside of that. You would need a form for the U shaped supports (the vertical supports for the track) that you could bend the metal strips onto to get the U shape. I would find a piece of wood the right width of those vertical strips then cut a U shape out in the wood to bend a metal strip around.

For the pieces with the holes in them you could probably get away with some plastic tubing or PVC pipe (that might be too thick) if you can find the right size. That would be easier to drill holes in.

The air tank could be made with Plastruct tubing and acrylic domes.

I could have sworn I replied to this thread. Maybe it was a similar one, I don't know. Anyway, I can tell you that based on my research the ammo is approximately 5 1/4 inches in diameter.

Thats nice to know. Thanks. I may end up making the mini-nuke too. Im not sure, though. Ill have pics of my progress up in 3 days. Im in Canada right now.
