Quick and easy Evil Dead 2 Boomstick

I've got my Ash bust, I've got my Necronomicon and I've got my chainsaw. I figured I should have Ash's "boomstick" too. This was just a quick, mega cheap and simple prop, so the accuracy is not amazing.

This is the model of shotgun Ash uses in ED2:



And I found this at a local car boot sale:



True, it's not mega accurate (missing the double trigger for a start and the stocks a bit short), but I figured it would do for costuming or a background display piece until I find something more accurate.

Barrel cut down to ED2 length and plastic woodgrain and "metal" decoration sanded off:



And given a lick of paint:



Ready to blow away some Deadites.

Sadly pics aren't working? I'm starting on the Boomstick next. Going to be molding a real steel double barrel... Might be able to cast a few extra blanks depending on if my mold turns out good. Thinking of using silicone mold putty with a plaster mother mold....... Hate the stuff but I'm going on the cheap.
