Louisiana State Police Badge (True Detective)

Finally got around to (binge) watching True Detective. Blown away by it, I must say. I'm looking to add a Louisiana State Police badge to my badge collection. Seems the only way to get one is to custom order from an authorized Smith & Warren dealer. I am in NY so I'm pretty sure they would make one and send it to me without any problems. Before I commit to the 30 day wait time, I was wondering if anyone knew of any vendors selling these.
 
Another update, they have agreed to have one made for me! As long as "For prop use only" is engraved on the back side. Couldn't be happier, I will update this thread with pics as soon as I get it in!

Badge came in today. It is GORGEOUS! Very happy with it! If anyone is looking for a badge to add to your collection I would order through epolicesupply.com. Ask for Robyn, she was a great help! I took a few phone pics of the badge and belt clip:


Keep in mind this is the a real deal, actual badge that Local and State Police agencies would order.

Ha I love how their like well we need to put for "prop use only" on the back of the badge. Because people would say "you know that badge looks real but let me see the other side of it" if you ever tried to use it.

I just ordered my badge yesterday from epolicesupply. I went with slightly different options for my badge. I did my best to try and match the badges seen in the picture.

I received this reply when I requested a "prop use only" badge.

"Unfortunately, we were asked by the manufacturer to stop making these "for prop use only" badges, so I can't make this badge for you."
 
I had one made for my supervisor, ( I work for a local city and we are not police) but he is a police nut, I had it made to match the badges used in the city i work for. delivered, it took about a month

Forgot I started this thread lol,

The rank on screen is definitely Sgt. I realized this a day or two after I put the order in over the phone and decided to just let it go.

Didn't want to cause any delay to an already month long process. Not a big deal to me. As long as its gold with the proper seal!

As for belt clip, yes I ordered mine with a Perfect Fit holder, also from epolicesupply.
