Looks like a great kit.
...and still not accurateIf you could have got one. :/
...and still not accurate
Don't get me started (my own experience with him) To be fair; his casts were always sharp and clean. But to be fair - as I said a few posts back, you have to cut the guy some slack. The model is pretty good given the information that was publicly available at the time he designed it.
And for a garage resin cast, the moulding looks quite good in those photos - pretty sharp, and free of bubbles.
Now - taking money from people and never shipping product - *that* is inexcusable...
Yes, I did...not accurate by any means. Here's the pics of the thread (I did a search, but without succes) Yogybear gave me one of his EVA Pod ear and allowed me to recast it to make the other one, as well as DaveG contributed by giving me his highly accurate STL file for the arms.joberg did you ever post a thread on your 1/6 pod?
So, has anyone made progress in making an accurate alternative?
Eager to see it when it's done NeilI've been working on one for the past 4 years. Not an "alternative" per se, because it's not going to be a kit or anything.
An impressive labour of love!Yes, I did...not accurate by any means. Here's the pics of the thread (I did a search, but without succes)
Well, me too! I'm pretty burnt out on it now really...Eager to see it when it's done Neil
