Show your custom Lightsabers!

I cut the crystal chamber aperture and started filing and sanding the edges. I'm researching what components I want for the kyber crystal and the rest for the chamber.

Those are some classy sabers. I WISH I had that type of skill.

A Starkiller inspired hilt made from a vintage Canon Y & Graflex 2.0. Happy with how it turned out.

That thing is incredible! I've always wanted to do this same thing! Did you use a template to cut the graflex top?

Not really, by now, I have too used to cutting the shroud for starkiller conversion and every cut were never the same. But I did use 5 or 6 mm masking tape to line up my cutting area as well as guide and always cut them by centre of the diameter. It make the cutting much easier and more efficient rather than just draw on the shroud. I avoid using pasted graph paper as well as the cutting the paper would create dusting effect on the cut area that it would affect my sight and accuracy during the cutting.

Here are a couple of mine. The first is the Annie3 I built from TCSS hilt parts, an LGT clamp and a Saberbay Golden Harvest chassis.
The other one is a kit bashed Vader from ANH. It made from a Romans hilt tube assembly, Wanna Wanga emitter shroud, TCSS MPP clamp and tracks. The chassis is printed from RJT custom sabers and I installed it with a Golden Harvest sound board and a Smugglers Outpost Darkside 28mm speaker. It's really loud.

I can't remember which vintage was this, but yeah, converted vintage camera. Most of original camera parts were used with addition of two wannawanga MPP shroud.

Very cool. A lot happening on the hilt. Kind of a scrapflex meets MPP. What did you make the blade holder out of? It almost looks like flower petals opening.

Its one of the parts from the vintage camera, heavily modded to fit 7/8 inch blade, fitted into the chasis, IIRC, its a more standard martin beyer graflex chasis.

Nice! I've always thought about using the LGT clamp. What did you do to shim it and secure it?

Ah yes, I had fun figuring that one out. I found self adhesive felt from the craft store works well. It give a very tight fit and protects the tube finish from scratching.

I have always wanted a roman MPP. But as far as i know, the grip was not open in the middle, instead just on the pommel right? Did you make yourself the bulb socket adapter as well?
