You have never seen the Blade Runner blaster before - PHOTOS RESTORED

Awesome piece, one I'd love to have a replica of, but for Australia's replica gun laws. Actually, with this one, I kind of agree. It is a nasty looking shooter and our Police wouldn't ask questions first.

Re: You have never seen the Blade Runner blaster before

Thanks PP.

I feel like Travolta in this scene.

Everything old is new again. Thank you again Karl.

We should also have some new pictures from the recent auction up soon thanks to Eltee.

That's right, the Great Biting was some time back, and now things are much better under control. :lol

I'm kidding, come on in, the water's fine. :cool

I was at that auction, the prop went for $225,000 My handler who works for PIH said they all thought it was gonna go for $75,000 tops.

:eek!

Also, if the .zip file gets taken down in the future (as some have feared), I will help anyone who wants it get a copy (email, file sharing site, etc.) if they PM me.

I swear we didn't pay Karl anything to promote us :D Thanks again PhasePistol.

I think the original estimate for the gun was $150,000. With the Buyers Premiums the new owner paid over $250,000 for it. Supposedly the new owner is Paul Allen, co-founder of microsoft, and owner of the Seattle Sci-Fi museum.

I am, as ever, your humble servant. :D

I think the Paul Allen theory is because we all hope we'll get a chance to see the blaster again some day. :lol

Of course if I were Paul Allen, I'd probably have the thing on my bedside table. :)

Karl, would you believe I didn't even know these were originally your photos?

I only had a few saved originally, wow... tons of photos in there. Thank you sir.:thumbsup

Karl is totally the man for taking, not only a few photos of the prop when it first appeared, but also over a hundred high resolution photos. I printed them out and had them tape bound for reference, and I jokingly call it the blaster Bible. My girlfriend calls it prop porn because of how I look while looking through it. :D

Thank you also Divine Heresy/Neil/Gaff87 for your kind words on PS.
