1:1 Jack Sparrow Bust... 2008 Version!

Holy **** Howard, that´s GREAT!!!!

I esp. admire the workmanship and attention to detail, that went into the production of this bust! May I anyway point out two things?...

First, the cheeks.
Don´t know if its really an issue with the sculpt, but they seem to be a bit to "present", making the face appear a bit to wide.

Second, the teeth.
While the teeth themself are PERFECT, I´d position them a tiny bit higher in the mouth. Right now -when looking at the bust for quite a time- it seems like Johnny wears bunny-teeth over his own ;)

Like I wrote before, the bust itself is awesome and I´ve never seen a better representation of Sparrow, but these two aspects detract from the overall GREAT look.

You b@s***d .. you killed Johnny Depp, cut him in 2, and placed him on your work bench :cry

(All kidding aside, that is without doubt the most real bust I've ever seen here .. and I've seen quite q few :eek )

Wow! Thanks for all of the great comments guys ;)

That's very nice indeed!

How's that new workshop working out for you?

Draven

Working out good... finally messy :D

Howard simply awesome...
I do have a question though what is the lifespan of the latex busts vs the resin ones?
I just picture the latex breaking down after a zillion years

anyway simply outstanding work!

Platinum Silicone outlasts most materials, it's really great stuff.

Brilliant, savvy? I have to echo what everyone else say: you've really captured the spirit of the character. Simply marvelous.

There are no words to describe the awesomeness of that bust. It is ridiculously life like. Are you sure you didn't kill Johnny Depp, chop him in half, and dress him up?

So realistic it would be scary to be in the same room.... Great job. Amazing talent. (y)thumbsup:thumbsup

Great work as usual Howard. When I thought you couldn't, you get better each time around.:thumbsup Awesome!
