Custom 12 GA Dummy Rounds!
Years ago I needed dummy 12 Gauge shells for a costume, but they weren't on the market.
Dummy pistol rounds, and dummy rifle rounds can be made on a reloading press, and different cartridges are made simply by changing dies out.
But when it comes to shotguns, a press is only good for one shell. Also, reloading shotgun shells is iffy, because the plastic shell tends to distort, so that it can't be fired again. ...But when it comes to dummy rounds, that's not an issue.
So in 2018, I bought a reloading press for 12 gauge, and got into making dummy shells.
I've made a bunch of batches, and these shells have been sitting around for years. Despite being made from FIRED shells, with the primers shot, when I've tried to sell these, it's resulted in bans, on ebay, etsy, facebook, and instagram. So that's why they've been sitting around for a long time. I decided to sell them here.
There's several batches to pick from. Most are dark red FEDERAL rounds, but I did get some bright red WINCHESTER. And they're all separated by the markings on them.
In order to put a little weight in them, I've filled them with used/old airsoft BBs. So they'll feel and handle more like real rounds. Rather than empty rounds that can blow around in the wind, or flop around weightlessly in a bandoleer.
Spent 12 gauge red plastic shells, hand loaded with 6mm airsoft BBs. Other dummy rounds are completely fake, or are simply crimped empty shells that can be easily crushed, blow around in the wind, and do not move or handle like live rounds. By custom, hand loading each round with airsoft BBs, it gives the shell some weight (still not full weight), and the appearance of actual shot. These are the best dummy rounds available.
Asking $1 per dummy, plus shipping.
