If you're anxious to get going, I think there are some accurate chest boxes for each film on Thingy already. Downloaded them, but haven't had a chance to try them yet.

i'm not really in a hurry but i did look they don't have the empire strikes back version only anh or rotj

Welp. If you’re going to scan/copy someone else’s work, to make a 3D print file, it might as well be Shadow FX Studios. Turn about is fair play in my opinion. [emoji57]

Lay off of the dude! He was not telling anyone to buy from Shadow FX. Quit with all of this recasting ****. Every high end Vader helmet is a recast. All of the authentic casts are copying someone else's work.

Doesn't ***** sell the rights to sell prints of his helmet when he sells the 3d model? How do we know the seller didn't just buy the file from ***** and start selling prints, as per the agreement in the original purchase of the model.

Ah, yeah, i just checked it out on CGTrader. it says thst you can not sell it in the way it is when you purchase it, (3D model) but it can be used in your commercial products as many times as you want after you purchase the model.

I didn't see that previously at all, good to know though!

so should let you guys know i started painting the mask i'm letting the first coat of paint dry before i put the grey on it might not look amazing since i'm kinda new to it but i think it will look good but i have to ask if anyone has a prop helmet how do i keep the dome on do i use magnets or something

i'm actually gonna be getting the rots files maybe in the next year or so to make a ep 3 suit

so i was looking online and i found out that do3d had put up their darth vader armor from rebels back up and believe it or not it's a lot cheaper i asked them about 2 years ago they were asking 150$$$ for the files now it's 60$
