Prime sand,prime sand.... Getting there!!

That is an awesome build. I have only one PKD and started building Bill Doran's. I may have to make a build of this one too. When I work my way back into f360.

How strong/resilient is milliput? Ive had problems with some model puttys cracking a bit to easily.
I discovered it a few years back after using plumbers epoxy for years, and I've used it some way or another in every prop I've made since.
It's easy to sand but will eat through sandpaper.
Bet to get it as smooth as possible, leave to cure for 8-12hours, hit it with a primer and then sand.

Came back to this today, after the Christmas rush.
Resculpted the grips.Made the front cartridge fit a lot better, and added a few greeblies.
Next step is to add the 105 text again and finish the base of the handle. I've also redesigned a new section to go in the top receiver. I'll compare it to the yellow one once I have it printed.

Will be printing two different pieces to fill the gap tomorrow, and asking you guys for your opinions on which one suits.

Here's the piece that I went with to fill that gap. Rubber some light graphite on it to bring out the few details.

I’ve had that Super Thur 105 for about 30 years. Probably picked it up at a yard sale when I was a kid. I recognized it right away when I saw Adam’s video. I digged it out of my box of old toy guns and took some pics. The grip pops off to allow for batteries. as much as I’d like to make a replica Savage blaster, this may find its way to auction online.

Aw thank you for these photos! Will come in very handy, as I plan to do another one with a hollow handle and working trigger!
Massively appreciated!!!

So after a few years, I have decided to revisit this piece.
Iblost the original files and started to remodel it yesterday to start fresh. Halfway through, I could the original one I made and decided to just put some more tlc into this one and get it looking better. Mostly reaculpting, sanding and refining lines and edges.
I did remodel a new clip with room for lights, that's currently printing.
