Hey Everyone
I have a small project I've been working. I could use a little help finding the proper size and reasonably priced Airsoft. This pic is of a real 1911.

Any help and sources would be very much appreciated. I've started with a cheap version sping action. I just want the proper size gun If I figure out all the parts. Thanks again guys.

I appreciate the suggestion. But I was looking for less altering. And more of a 1 to 1 size. This spring action is close. But it's so small. And I have no clue what would be more spot on. And again I appreciate the help guys.

Was looking at this gas operated. But again I have no clue. If it's the proper size.

The above looks right for size. The barrel on the Government model should measure 5" from muzzle to the back of the port. The next size down is the Commander model with a 4.25" barrel. Hope this helps. When searching look for the Government model.

Having never seen an airsoft frame, it would be hard to tell for sure. My first reaction is ,it might slide on but would not function. Too many variables in the real slides function to frame and the airsoft's frames function to its dedicated slide. (if that makes sense)

I would be happy with just fitting on some way for now. Would save a lot happy work. And could be machined

Slide looks like there's an edge shelf looking deal going on. Not sure I've seen that style yet
