We haven’t seen that laser/blue mist barrier since 1979.

Kane seemed to cause a higher tone when his hand broke the plane—suggesting artificiality. Stasis field.

When he fell there was a rattlesnake type noise—a defense mechanism perhaps.

The ovomorph wants to release the facehugger…but Kane falling so heavily may have sounded like a quadruped about to step on and destroy eggs.

Step on a tendril—it hisses
Walk normally, and it is triggered like we see in all the other movies.

If anything—Kane’s fall may have caused most of them to clam up/shut down for a time.

SDCC 2024 – NECA Alien and Predator Figures

NECA had a few figures from the Predator movie Prey, as well as Alien: Romulus on display at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 Preview Night.

I’m gearing up, putting some shine on my early 80’s NATO combat boots for Kane and I came across this “tribute” piece I built a while back…

Very uncomfortable but it looks great!

I'm kind of torn on this. While I want to like this movie, I can't say that I'm very impressed by what I've seen in the trailer so far. To me, it looks to be just a rehash and mash up of Alien and Aliens with scenes seemingly lifted straight from both movies.

I remember being disappointed walking out of Alien Covenant because it had the name but didn’t feel anything like Alien or Aliens. From what I’ve seen this doesn’t feel that way.

It’s set between Alien and Aliens. 20 years after Alien.
