i have not been able to find any pics of Shaw mad or pissed so it's hard to know what he would look like as a mean man, i mean Vader mean. .

Just watch "High Seasons" it´s available on DVD. This helps.


everyone is free to have his own opinion.
I´m very interested to know every point of view.
I also understand that many people weren't conform with Shaws portrait in the role of Vader in ROTJ.
To me he´s just perfect, BECAUSE hi´s the opposite to that what we expected.
I love that they chosen him, because he was able to show the rest of humility in this man. Even underneath his terrible scars and the man- machine body he has.

OK i'll go against the grain, I think the SSC vader is actually pretty damn nice.

My thoughts also. There's already a decent Shaw bust about and while there's some top notch paint jobs out there, and it makes a good "utterly spent" Vader, I commend the direction SS have taken for a more idealized Vader. I always found Shaw an odd visual casting choice for the final reveal, reminds me somewhat of Albert Finney.

The more I look at the SS the more I feel the sculptor was exceptionally thoughtful and inspired about the subject, as well as talented.

Would be interesting to see if an Ep3 one comes down the line sometime, similar to the Gentle Giant mini bust.
