And I'm getting pretty tired of your kiss ass whiney attitude responses. I've had two people who were bidding on the same item confirm with me that Thomas won the auction. Maybe they are both mistaken and have confused the winning bidder for someone else. For some reason he doesn't want it talked about publicaly so that's the end of that.

I have a great deal of respect for Thomas' knowledge and he has helped me personally learn more about Vader than anyone else on this forum, both through threads and private messages. Anyways, great shots Thomas. A fine addition to your collection. When I get my GH I will mix and match with some various masks myself (as much as my collection allows me to anyways

It's no secret that banned member Phil (SPFX, Underlord, Apogee1, Bottomfeeder, Dark Jedi, etc.) hates Thomas, and RKW is one of Phil's mouthpieces around here, so not hard to figure out once you know this. Just a feeble attempt to reveal something and stir up trouble. Also not surprising that his claims may be wrong...

To clear up a few things up Thomas cannot talk too much about the origins of this new faceplate purely because it comes from a friend of mine who got this from inside the UK TV and film industry. The propmaker still works in the industry and specifically asked for it's origins not to be discussed openly on public forums as he does not want this coming back to him.
The propmaker has supplied very nice faceplates that come from a source different to any other Vaders currently in the hands of fans that I know of. Thomas has respected the wishes of the maker of this piece and not openly discussed it's background in depth.
There is nothing cloak and dagger in this just common courtesy being shown by Thomas we should respect this.
Possibly we should just enjoy this for what it is a good old fashioned show off thread allowing us the enthusiast to see a new and different version of this faceplate now happily in the hands of fans .

All I'm genuinely interested in is what the size difference is between this casting and the other one since I know how much Sithlord likes to discuss the size of his helmet. Thinking he was in a unique position to answer the question as the green (or is it now black) auction helmet still has its dome tabs but seemingly lacks the details found on the ANH faceplate. SL either doesn't want to answer or can't (because he doesn't own it) so there is no more to discuss on that.
Since we have to constantly be reminded how shrunken our fan helmets are when are we actualy going to see some figures posted? I'm curious to know whether we're dealing in inches, centimeters, millimeters or micro...
Would Darth Jones mind having his numbers posted so we can all compare?
