Anyone know anything about the John Wick Gold Coins?

:lol

The leaf pattern is a bit different, but clearly the overall design greatly influenced the Wick coin.

And yes, that's a bow.

i think its safe to say you should model it after that pic based on a comparison it looks like what the artist used

When you show them side by side, even the berries line up. It would be easier to copy that pattern, being as how it's clearer.

thats the idea man!

and check this out when you put them all three together

i chopped the top 2 leaves on each side then moved them down slightly and bang dead on!

My snake idea was cooler. :lol

It definitely looks like a bow though. You can see the knot in the center.

OK so I don't usually do this, but was listening to the Tested podcast Still untitled with Adam Savage today which was about John Wick and Adam mentioned about trying to get the coins.

I loved the film and by trade I'm a Silversmith, Goldsmith and Jewllery designer maker and though I would have a crack, found this post and have been checking out all your resources you guys have discovered, which led me to start 3D modelling my own.

From looking at the pictures I could determine that the coin was made from different research sources and such as the euro coin with the bow and wreath surrounding the lady. so after doing some google searches I've found this, along with the beginnings of me modelling the coin.
1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpgFreedom 1.jpgpowerful-lion-in-side-view-3877.jpg

The woman on the back is lady freedom but holding the star-burst shield on the front behind the lion with a sword, she is holding an olive branch which makes sense of the olive branch surrounding her tied in a bow.

Just need to make out the text above her and I am about half finished!

Looks like it might say "Ex Unitae Vires," which I think is meant to be "Ex Unitate Vires," which means 'From Unity Strength," and which used to be the motto of South Africa; which might make it a tip of the hat to Krugerrands.
