ARMY OF TWO, FROM CLAY TO REALITY(pic intensive)

PUNISHER MASK
Personally I don't think there's anything that scary about a greaser with a skull on his shirt, but if some gun toating pscyho with a vendetta came after me wearing this I might **** my pants

I really like Philip Clyde's mask. AKA Smiley.:lol

He kinda looks like the joker without it.

Great job by the way, keep it up!:cool

omg.... GIEF!!!!

ME WANTY MASK!!! if only i had 100$ :(

looking really awsome, dunno if its the screen here or what it is, but the "gouges" on the Rios mask look a bit wierd...

to bad net goggles are illegal here... have to wear ordinare goggles under in stead^^

just out of interest... will/are you selling the Rios mask as well as the salem one? (if yes, which "paint job"?)

yes I am selling the rios mask, which paint job do you have in mind? I haven't looked at alot of them simply because this is a buddy costume and my friend is doing rios and I'm doing salem, but if you want one just send me a pm and I'll see what I can do, I have to charge additionaly for a paint job than just a raw kit

my buddy randall made this mask for his Resident Evil centurion, I've gotten a few pm's about people who wanted to use my army of two masks for other costume but don't know what to do, here's his mask

like I said before I can't take credit for this mask, but it is one of the possiablities you can make for your costume, if anyone would like a mask like this pm me and I'll see what I can do
props to my buddy randall!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. if you don't like bullet dents they're easily filled in

well I finally got the "salem camo" pattern down to a science, I free handed this, put a matte clear coat over it and once it dries I'll start the flame job and the weathering

for those of you who will be at d-con you'll see this in person, it looks much better than the pics

Hm, so I'm going to try to tackle this by using the guys method from the hunters lair. Sept using sheet metal for the actual metal parts. That might be tricky. (thoughts?) [For bomb collar]

But the major problem I'm facing is the shoulder pads in the light armor. (course I haven't done any work, but only planning. of course I could do it all from scratch but is there any alternative solutions? Maybe using a kneepad for it, not sure. If you want a picture, ask me.

And how should I apply sheet metal to the cloth. If its possible.

Alright. Sorry to jack the thread, I don't find much use in making a seperate thread. You still owe me a pic of your setup.

I was going to go completely accurate aka with mask/LBV/Kevlarvest/everything else, but I decided to scrap this project and go for the cheap version. It's not that I don't have the money. It's just I don't really find it useful to have an army of two costume, when theres only just me. So its really like...army of one. half. But heres my bomb collar in progress, not perfect but it works. Photochopped the mask clearly.

ya i ran in to a glitch with my progress pics, my under vest should be here next monday(then I'll have left is the hard armor pieces), right now I'm working on a harness system for the mask so i can pull it up and leave it there with out it falling off the back of my head or falling down abruptly, I like your bomb collar, but it looks a little to high in the front(neck)

what are you making the collar out of?

p.s. my buddy and I found a perfect use for these costumes(you gotta have a friend though).....AIRSOFTING!, i'm 5'9(perfect salem) with all his gear on he's 6'7, he'll scare the crap out anyone who gets near us

Yeah I was looking at it more and noticed some more problems with my collar, I actually did notice it was too high too and I flipped it around and its a bit shorter. So I'll probably just do that. And I made my collar out of foam and fabric. Same way the guy on Hunters lair did. And did you actually get a kevlar under vest? I know you didn't list it off in this thread but I did notice he had one. Ehobbyasia has the cheapest one after shipping.

and lol, on the other forum I posted this, just with more words. And I told em how I basically gave up because i'm "single" in this project and I was going to go for the cheap sykes airsoft army of two mask. Although it has a horrible paintjob and isn't that accurate. It's quite cheap and airsoft proof. And since I'm using my old airsoft vest (the innacurate one) it's already setup ..for my set up.

K it doesn't look that noticeable actually, I'll have to find a way to trim it down since I applied the fabric. Although I'm glad I already trimmed it before, it was much larger. no bueno.
