There's never any reference what the blue feather/leaf structure is. They said the bow was constructed to honor the Direhorse.
So, for them to use a Banshee feather wouldn't make sense.
I'll be making, shaping, and carving everything out of wood for the most part.
The wrapping will be leather, and the bowstring will be Elk Hide Lace.

Bloody Hell Brenton that is one heck of a prop to attempt. I love the fact that you are staying true to the 1:1 rather that making it funtional, it's just not worth it if it isn't 1:1.
I've always loved the arrows that are displayed in Parker's office, the size makes them all the more immpresive.

One is Flint that is going to be 12 inches long and the other arrowhead is Obsidian, which will be about 10 inches long. Both arrowheads are based off the arrowhead designs in the Avatar Field Guide.
The arrows total length will be around 4 to 5 feet long!thumbsup
