Avengers Costume Changes

I liked the Captain America Avengers costume when I saw it hanging up, but it looks 5HIT on Chris Evans. It doesn't fit him.
 
Why did they even need to change Thor's costume? Was the old one all torn up after filming or really stinky? I understand Cap getting a new suit and Iron Man's new suit (MkVII) hopefully will be explained. Just seems like unnecessary expenses for the new film.
 
only reason they cahnge all their costumes is MORE TOYS...they are so hell bent on the liscensing anymore they always change suits to have more figures, same way a R rated Wolverine film won't be made....although would LOVE to see it. Yes I'd say the muscle guys did lose some size, VEY hard to get that much that fast and keep it...just unnatural, as if they had of gotten it over a year or so, then it wouldnt disappear so fast..LOL
 
i see black widow a bit bigger than last movie, but cap looks like hes gettin some jowls and a double chin... o_O?
 
Well, Thor just needed a new fit for his costume as Helmsworth bulked up so much for the film by the time he got into the costume it was too tight. He had to keep taking it off to let the blood flow to his arms.

Sorry, Caps new one reminds me of the 70's really bad movie. It now screams "cheese". Somebody botched this one up good.
 
Hmm, looks like someone didn't get his hair dyed! I assume this is from early in the shoot, before they needed any mask-less shots. Could be the end of shooting too, I have no idea what the schedule is.

I agree 100%. Both Hemsworth and Evans don't looked as bulked up as they did in their films.

And why oh why change Mjolnir??? It was perfect. The costume changes can be justified, but the hammer changing cannot. What, Thor trades it in for a newer model? LOL

Why change anything from the comics.....if it isn't broke don't fix it.
 
I knew they were gonna change Mjolnir, jus had a feeling. I guess it wasn't fit for a god and needed new parts? I am glad they didn't supersize it and add a blade to one end though! I like the new Thor suit, but it has those lil shoulder pads that make his arms look even smaller on top of the slight baggy look. I hope they will be doing cgi bulking, like the cgi skinnying/shrinking effect used on Evans as small Steve
 
No one has seen the Ironman design yet because i can bet you it will be CGI in the movie and no need to make a real functional full armor. Only a prototype.
