Best pattern for catsuit?

I have used google and found many different ways to do a catsuit but for those that have done it, what is the best type of way to do one? I need to do one but I need to make it out of a non stretch material, either real leather or a nice vinyl. A lot of the patterns I have come across call for stretch material so I don't know if they would work if I tweaked them a bit. I want to make a mord sith catsuit like this so I guess some of it will be stretch and some won't. I am planning on working on a book version of the Mord Sith and then the show version. The catsuit is the show version and seems like it is going to be harder to do then the book version since I have never done a catsuit before and the book version is a two piece outfit.

There is a concept in clothing construction called ease. This is the amount space to move within clothing. Some clothes, like sweat shirts, have lots of ease. Tight jeans have less ease.

Cat suits fit very closely to the body and get their ease from stretchy fabrics. If you made a cat suit completely from a woven fabric, you would not be able to move in it.

You can buy stretch pleathers that would give you the look of leather and ease.

The girls that do have the real leather Mord Sith outfits can't sit down or bend, lol. I have ordered a few samples of the stretch pleather and it is usually way too shiny and thin. I did find some really nice pleather in a brown that I am going to use vinyl dye on to get the blood red color but it has no give, that is what the spandex panels are for in the one I posted I guess. So you can at least move a little. I know it is going to be very hot and very uncomfortable but Mord Sith live for pain I guess, hahaha.
