A Nagant camming gas-seal revolver would probably be ideal, the only problem I might see with it is the ammo - Prvi Partisan makes it, but they mix Boxer and Berdan primers so there'd be issues of REALLY working to keep it clean, not knowing what you're getting. That's not a difficult thing to do, but it is something to keep consideration of. You'd run into the same problem with other surplus ammo as well, but the PP rounds seem to be at a fairly nice price. I can't imagine the Nagant would be all that bad in recoil, so it could turn out to be a fun shooter. Could probably load your own with a slightly slower burning powder so you get bigger muzzle flash as well, if you went that route.
Thinking about it, the Nagant might also be a good choice for the BSG "revolver" - that thing's practically a solid shell all the way around, so having a gas-seal on the gun would be just as nice. Looking at prices...well, seems the market has gone up quite a lot the last few years; bottom end is around 300 and mostly in the 6-700 range for a good condition gun.
Will the Nagant's (seemingly) long and high hammer fit in the Blaster's geometry, though, with that undercut and the back end of the Steyr receiver?
