BTTF Delorean Pics at Universal Studios Backlot

Various parties have been trying to save these cars for over 10 years now. I don't expect Universal will ever do anything about them.

It's truely sad to see this isn't it. You would think one of their most successful films of all time would encourage them to take care of the props and show them in all their glory in the parks :confused

I always loved the pink Edsel with the hoverconversion. I have a photograph I took of my dad standing beside the car on the lot just after the film came out when it was still "new". I wish I could see it again, no matter what it's shape, because the one thing I'd really like to get good pics of is the hoverconversion bits and pieces... especially the part that goes over the front wheels... if I could get nice high-res shots of those bits, I'd be happy.

Be happy. :)

It looks as though that hoverconversion wheel plate/cover might actually be made from a automotive wheel boot lock. Gotta do some research on that now...

I have a Diecast 1:18 scale Edsel I have been planning tp replicate the Hove car fron Part II, i'll post ton-o-pics when it's bcomplete or wip pics.
