Yeah. I guess we know that the stickers are 4", so that would make the box 18x18x24.
8" lid, 16" base and 18" wide.
An online case builder I found would build it for $362 USD, but that's too rich for my taste.

No, the radioactive stickers of the screen used case are 5" (measured from one corner to the opposite corner). The calculations that I did a few years ago (4" stickers) were wrong.

So here's my case. This is a "tribute" case, which houses all of my BTTF cosplay materials. As such, it's obviously not scaled to match the one from the film, but it'll be great for hauling my gear to cons. I'm having the "Handle With Care" adhesive vinyl lettering produced this week, which I will add later. The radiation stickers are not a match to the 1985 iteration, but again, I was fine with that since this wasn't a true replica anyway.

How did you get your "Plutonium Handle with care" lettering to look so nice and crisp? I got a case from anvil and it has the same texture to it that yours does and I had a hell of a time getting mine to look good. Your lettering looks amazing! I tried stickers and that didn't look right and didn't stick well so I went back to stencils, stamps etc. What was your trick or what did you do different?

I had a local print shop produce some adhesive die cut vinyl for me. I set the type in Adobe Illustrator (Franklin Gothic Bold converted to outlines with an added stroke), and provided them with the file. Only ran me around $10.

I want the challenge to build one from scratch... Can anyone tell me where they sourced the hardware (new not scavenged from an old box) and the over all dims for the latches and handles please?
Also how have these been finished? E.g. ABS sheet or painted and what the colour code is the yellow?
