Are we hijacking Mike's thread? If so we could have it split off into a research project for the whole prop.

I think the PCMCIA part could be a Compact Flash reader. The opening at the top looks about the right size and it bares a lot of similarities to this one for example.

I think I was wrong about the SD/MMC card...it's too large for that. The gold part and shape are like most SIM cards though, were SIM cards ever that large?

Oop...I just found a photo of the exact PCMCIA card reader...I should have waitied another couple min before posting.

AND, I just found the other part, not an SD/MMC card, but a Smart Media card. LOL
